On Saturday, November 16th, we had over 80 elementary wrestlers represent their elementary school. Congratulations to the Helen Baller Bears for earning 1st place and becoming the first back-to-back CWC: Elementary Champions in the history of the program. Be sure to sign up for CWC: Folkstyle starting on Monday (11/25).
Camas broke a school record this weekend by putting four wrestlers, the most Camas has ever had, in the finals at the State tournament in the Tacoma Dome. Jack Latimer at 132 lbs, Tanner Craig at 138 lbs, Gideon Malychewski at 170 lbs and Colby Stoller at 195 lbs. Craig and Malychewski walked away with titles and Dustin Hubbard took eighth place. This outstanding performance put Camas into a 5th place team finish at state!
Camas Wrestling would like to thank the Lacamas Magazine for the awesome slideshows of our two champs and all the work that they put into covering the progress of our team this year.
Our first practice is Tuesday (11/13) from 3:40 p.m. to 5:50ish p.m.
We have an optional practice from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00ish a.m. on Monday (11/12).
